Car Insurance For Females

Popular belief is that the women are less comfortable than men behind the wheels. On the contrary, statistics shows females are safer as car drivers than males. That is the reason why Auto Insurance for Females is cheaper than auto insurance for males. And this common rule is practiced in all states of USA and all the car insurance providers doing business there go by this rule.

This landmark rule of getting cheaper rate of premium on Automobile Insurance for Females was not an easy job. It is given to the females as an award for their consistency in safe driving. As per the recorded road accident cases till date, the percentage of female drivers at fault is remarkably low compared to the male drivers. Car Insurance for Females most often remains unclaimed. And in rare case when they are proven to be at fault often the road accident is of very minor type not involving any loss of life or big injury of the other driver or the passenger of the other car and also with no totaling or big damages on the other drivers’ part. When the accident is severe the injury and property damage is severe too. And the claimed amount of money from the insurance company also goes up in that case because the medical bill for injury and repairing bill for property damage to other are high which the insurer’s company has to pay. But in those accidents where there is no bodily injury and property damage is only some scratch on the body of the other drivers’ car, the claimed insurance amount is low so the insurance company has to pay less. So, the rate is low for Automobile Insurance for Females.

It is also proven that female drivers spend less time on road than male drivers. So the average usage of the car and mileage given by the car is comparatively low for females. Insurance rate goes proportionately with the mileage covered by the car. In that respect too Automobile Insurance for Females deserves lower rate.

Also as driver the females very cautious not to be booked for breaking speed limit or violating any other safety rules. This also helps make Car Insurance for Females cheaper.

Males are advised to add their name as driver in any family member females’ car to earn the benefit of Automobile Insurance for Females.

The Cost of Ignorance

A state of ignorance is a position of not being in the know of certain issues or subjects. Ignorance is dangerous to the one who peddles and or trades in it. When you carry it around, people can not help but see that you are one such person who lacks knowledge and understanding. When you are ignorant, you will do certain wrong things innocently thinking that you are being productive. The highest commodity being traded between individual is sometimes ignorance. What people fail to see are the opportunities that are lost, potential business that is trashed, potential relationships that are ignored and possible synergies that are thwarted. There is a price that you pay for carrying an ignorant mind. This is a price you pay whether you feel like it or not; whether you know it or not.

The price list for ignorance

- You do things in a longer time than normal - If there is a shorter way to do something, it is better to pursue that route than wallow in the wilderness of ignorance. It is expensive to lose time doing things the longer way. In the same period that you then accomplish a task, potentially you could have completed seven or ten other tasks. Sadly, the ignorant rejoice in the fact that they completed but forget to calculate the amount of time lost groping in the dark. If I told you of a quicker way to make a suit I am certain you would jump for it yet until such a point, it seem alright to take so long to make the same item.

- You do things more expensively when ignorant - Two cities may be 400 miles apart when you consider the shortest route possible. As a traveler or drive you are limited to the routes that have been made know to you. You are in essence affected by the amount of exposure. You may know just the route which takes 650 miles. Just as it takes longer it also costs you in terms of actual money lost in additional fuel.

- You present products below standard - Ignorance accepts any standard as normal. Just because you have not had any other exposure to good things will leave you performing below standard and still applaud yourself as a high achiever. When you give people low standard products, you are assured that they will never return for a second purchase. Sooner or later you run out of business and it costs you your source of income.

- You endanger your body - There are some lethal and fatal things that ignorant people do without counting the cost. You find people engaging in illicit behavior such as smoking which damages lungs, unsafe sex outside marriage which exposes people to sexually transmitted infections, wrong foods which kill organs in the body and produce toxins in the blood system and so on. There are some who are caught up in the actions because of addiction while in the know of the cost of such activities while others remain without knowledge or wisdom hence they perish. Ignorance of your health can cost you your own life.

- You endanger the life of innocent people - If you are not aware of your HIV status, you pose a threat to the person you have sexual contact with. If you do not know the state of your vehicle, you will drive it dangerously increasing the risk of an accident that can kill or maim passengers that you carry.

Scholarships For “C” Students - Believe it Or Not, It’s True!

In my three decades of advising students about scholarships and warning them about scholarship scams, one of my slogans was “There aren’t a bunch of people sitting around wanting to write checks for “C” students.” My latest research proves that statement to be wrong! Indeed, there are colleges that offer scholarships to “C” students and scholarships to students with low College Board scores. Doesn’t make sense, but it’s true.

For more than three decades I have been emphasizing good grades, high class rank, and high SAT and ACT scores as the foundation to finding scholarships. Although I will continue to chant that litany, I will also share that there are colleges that actually offer scholarships to people who have a good, solid “C” average and very strong “average” SAT and ACT scores.

In a public forum such as this, I am reluctant to simply blurt out the names of these colleges, but I will give you links to the websites if you contact me. I’m in the college prep business and I don’t want to make any colleges angry with me if I publicize this kind of information, so I’ll present the particulars and keep the names to protect the innocent.

College A - a state college located in a southern state:

Graduated from (name of the state) public high school and achieved a 2.50 high school GPA or 19+ ACT composite or equivalent, or graduated from a private, homeschool, or out-of-state high school or earned a GED and earned a 19+ ACT or equivalent.

Award Amounts: $5,000 for 4-year University; $2,500 for 2-year institution.

Let’s understand this in perspective. A 2.50 is a middle “C” average which could mean the student made enough A’s and B’s to balance out some D’s and F’s. Or it could mean the student was a consistent “C” student who made a few B’s to move halfway in the 2.0 - 3.0 scale.

Any way you interpret this, we are not looking at a scholar. But I am not going to judge because there are a lot of students who goofed off in high school, grew up, and did great in college. Indeed, I work with a lot of adults who dropped out of high school who returned to college and did very well. In fact, I helped one get a Harvard scholarship.

The ACT score is one point above 18, considered to be the “average” ACT score. So we have a 2.50 (slightly above average) GPA and a 19 (slightly above average) ACT score combined that will get the student a potential $5000 scholarship.

This is strange for me because I often work with students who have fair to mid-line GPAs, who are otherwise intelligent, just bored in school and didn’t put a lot of effort in. I can usually help them jump their SAT or ACT scores and mitigate less than spectacular GPAs. This scholarship throws a pretty heavy wrench into my paradigm.

The kicker here is that to maintain the scholarship, the student must maintain a 2.50 average in college, take at least 15 hours each semester, and be continuously enrolled. Not a significant challenge. The scholarship continues until the student graduates, completes 130 hours, or 8 semesters.

This goes to prove that there are many secret, hidden scholarship opportunities out there. It just takes some digging. However, I also want to caution you that there are also many scholarship scammers out there, too, who will take your money and promise you your mailbox will be filled with checks. I’ve never seen that played out in my three decades of doing this work.

As always, in dealing with college funding, always deal with a professional. Make sure they have letters (either degrees or professional designations) behind their name and can give you actual names of people who received funding due to their efforts. If at any time you feel pressured into writing a check or giving them a credit card number, or if they say the offer is only good right then, run away!
